What to expect from the role:
Work closely with an in-house instructional designer, in house marketing services, and external partner to market various co-developed educational products
Identify opportunities to have a product or related product within other products e.g. have SME present at a Virtual Event; source webcast speaker related to educational product
Create a marketing strategy and marketing concepts for each educational product, creating and utilizing various marketing opportunities
Approve all marketing messaging related to the product.
Ensure end-to-end product set up including price, ability to purchase, landing page, promo codes, lead scoring, recertification credits, etc
Determine dates of all post-pilot courses, with input from Instructional Designer and 3rd party.
Main point of contact for 3rd parties as it is related to sales and marketing of the product.
Train the sales team on the product and ensure the sales team has the collateral to sell the product.
Develop product marketing strategies (pricing, advertising, product launch) on a wide variety of educational products and services
Collaborate with design, development, sales, and teams to implement strategies
Determine how many marketing qualified leads (MQLs) are required in the funnel in order to optimize conversions and meet product revenue goals (measure and track conversions)
Own the user experience and usability of the product
Build and refine product user/buyer personas
Measure lead quality against the persona
Ensure MQLs are passed to sales reps via CRM platform and provide regular check-in to assure leads are converting
Responsible for email automation and tracking campaign results
Ensure products are meeting revenue goals and client expectations
Bachelor’s degree graduate
With 2-3 years experience in product marketing and project management
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and make decisions with the information and tools at hand.
